Can I get change for bills and coins?

There is a bill-changer on the First Floor near the Information counter. The photocopy machines on the First and Third Floor will also give change. Change can also be given at the Business Counter on the Third Floor during business hours.

Where are the photocopiers located?

There are three photocopiers in Sinclair Library. Two are on the First Floor; one by the CLIC Lab and another in the Study Lounge and one on the Third Floor next to the reshelving area.

Where are the public payphones and campus telephone located?

There is a public payphone are located on the First Floor lanai. There are additonal public payphones located by the bulletin boards infront of the library. The Campus Phone is located on a wooden podium to the right of the Study Lounge entrance, near the computers.

Are there any staplers, paperclips, pencils, pens, scissors, white-out, scotchtape, and paper that I can use?

They are available at the service counters on the 1st and 3rd floors. If they are out of supplies or don't have what you need please ask at either the First Floor Information Desk or the Third Floor Reference Desk or Circulation Counter.

Do I need to activate my card with the Library before borrowing items?

Yes, first you will need to validate your UH ID card at the beginning of every semester at the UH ID Office. Then, you can activate your UH ID card at any UH System Library Circulation Counter, or else you will not be able to borrow or check out items from the library.
