What is Online Media Request?

Online request service for media in UHM Sinclair Wong Audiovisual Center is The new online system allows requests to be made remotely from any computer connected to the Web, provided you have activated your University of Hawaii ID card at the library or have a UH Community User Card. For more information, see the following PDF files. Please note that you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader in order to view these files.

Using the Media Request Service

The request system works through the Hawaii Voyager online library catalog. As you search the catalog and find the title you want, you press the Request button found at the top of the screen. After a few additional steps, your request is sent to the audiovisual center. Wong AV Center Reserves, however, must still be requested in person.

Information & Policy

UH System students and staff may directly request audiovisual materials (library copies of media including videos, DVDs, CDs, audiocassettes, etc) to use in the classroom. Items must be picked up at UHM Sinclair Library Wong Audiovisual Center. This service is not available for community and associate card holders. See more about media showing.
