Saving Records in Hawai'i Voyager
How do I save a record?
This feature allows you to save bibliographic records from various searches
for later viewing, editing, and printing in your choice of formats. These
records may be from any database. You may select and save up to 500 records.
To save records:
From the Search Results screen:
- Select the checkboxes next to all the records you want to save
to your saved records, on each search page containing records you
wish to save.
- Click the Saved Records button in the Format Records to Print,
Save, or Email box.
You will receive a "[] records have been added to your saved records
file" message. Remain on the current search results page.
Repeat this process on each page containing records you
wish to save.
When finished, you can view your saved records by selecting
the by clicking the Saved Records button on the Your Account
page.
To delete a record from your Saved Records file:
- Select the check box (in the Delete? column) next to the
record.
- Click the Delete Selected Records button.
To clear the contents of your saved records file:
Click the Delete All Records button. This deletes all records
from your saved records and you will see a screen indicating
that your saved records file is empty.
To email the contents of your saved records file:
From the Saved Records screen, enter your email address into
the Enter your email address box and click the Send Email button.
To save or print the contents of your saved records file:
- Select the desired format from the Which Format? drop-down
box.
- Click the Print or Save button.
This reformats the contents of your saved records file in your browser.
- Use your browser's print/save options to print and/or save
the reformatted information.
