Searching Reserves and E-Reserves Using Voyager

A Guide for Reserves Searches in Sinclair Library

A RESERVES search identifies and locates materials currently placed on reserve in UH System Libraries. Items can be searched by instructor, course, or campus. Search Limits DO NOT apply to Course Reserve searches.

To Perform a Reserves Search:

1. In Voyager, select a search term from at least one of the drop-down lists: Instructor, Course, or Campus.

2. Key in the first letter of the instructor's last name or course abbreviation to move quickly through the listings. Click on the SEARCH button to begin your search or click on RESET to clear.

3. Bring the call number to the Circulation Desk. If the call number is ELECTRONIC FILE it means it is available full text online. Click on the title and click HERE TO VIEW for the reserve item to display.
