Practically comprehensive in its coverage of film titles. To locate reviews look for 'external reviews' in the left hand column of the film record.
New York Times Movie Reviews
Access to free archived Times film reviews from 1851 to the present. Free registration to MyTimes.com is needed to read articles and reviews.
Metacritic
Collates reviews of movies, tv shows and DVD's. A numerical score from each review is obtained and the total averaged. A key sentence from each review is provided along with a hyperlink to the source. A very popular website.

ROTTEN TOMATOES
Rotten tomatoes staff search as many websites as possible that contain reviews of particular films. Each film is designated "fresh" or "rotten." The percent of positive reviews is tabulated. The number of reviews for major recently released films can reach 250.
